Marks and Spencer shoppers say they have found the 'comfiest trainers imaginable' that feel like you're 'walking on air'. Some have been so impressed they're even comparing the footwear to high-end brand Skechers. Marks and Spencer is a huge name on the UK high street and has millions of fans across the country with its range of clothing, accessories and shoes.
Its latest pair of trainers for spring have been a crowd pleaser, gaining many glowing reviews and a stellar overall score of 4.5 stars out of five. The store's Knitted Slip On Trainers cost £39.50 and come in four different colours - all-black, black and white, navy and white, and grey and white. There are also 11 different sizes to choose from, including half-sizes.
The "understated" runner Knitted Slip On Trainers are made with Marks and Spencer's antibacterial Freshfeet footbed, which helps to keep your feet odour-free. They also come with a flat heel for a "comfortable" feel.
The Knitted Slip On Trainers are complete with a knitted upper design to give a "modern" look. The shoes are part of Marks and Spencer's 'M&S Collection', which features easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles.
Free from animal-derived ingredients or materials, the Knitted Slip On Trainers are also made with Marks and Spencer's Insolia Flex technology, which makes walking in flats "more comfortable". It ensures your foot is correctly placed within your shoes, and improves the natural rotational movement of the ball of the foot.

The reviews are awash with plenty of five star reviews. One shopper called Ollie wrote: "These are the most comfortable trainers/shoes ever." Lynda added: "Got the grey ones last year. Now have the black ones as well. They are the comfiest trainers imaginable. Price is very reasonable too."
A third put: "Really comfortable! Great for wearing with jeans and trousers!! An everyday classic." A fourth wrote: "Most comfy trainers I have bought." A fifth said: "Lovely, excellent, comfortable shoe & bought to enjoy walking on holiday." Pryce put: "The comfiest footwear I possess! Just feels like your walking on air!"
Comparing the Knitted Slip On Trainers to a popular high-end brand, Ger said: "These are just as comfortable as Sketchers and a bit cheaper." Dawn agreed: "Excellent fit and exactly like sketchers but half the price. I bought two pairs."

However, not everyone is enjoying the trainers. One shopper said: "These were far too tight and I am only a 3 they pinched my toes badly." Fozia claimed: "Not comfortable to walk in for walks or shopping the arch of the foot hurts." Gilbee added: "Obviously, they are not Sketchers, who are the true slip-ins. You need a shoe horn for these! Otherwise, they're ok."
